DHEA
DHEA is a hormone that is naturally produced by the human body in the adrenal glands. It has been shown that its levels often decline 75-80% from optimal levels around the age of 70, leading to various hormonal imbalances that can affect the quality of life. Blood levels of DHEA peak at approximately age 25, and slowly but progressively decline thereafter. This marked decrease in DHEA levels associated with age is believed to play a role in age-related health problems. Research shows oral supplementation of DHEA, supports the restoration of youthful levels to support optimum health.
